I am a media specialist at Boiling Springs High School in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. Before taking this position,  I taught English at both the middle and high school levels for 29 years.  I have a Master’s in Secondary Education English, a Master’s in Library and Information Science,  and earned my National Board Certification in English Language Arts in 2003.

    I am Terry Friedlander, founder of PicLits.com. There was a posting and some very nice compliments regarding our site. I wanted to thank someone or somebody. Assuming that you are in South Carolina, I hope you have an opportunity to refer some language arts teachers to PicLits. It is definitely a teaching for them and ESL/ELL teachers as well. Our typical user are students in grades K3-K12. Our poetry section under “Master It” in the LEARN IT section is for mostly college students and AP high school classes. We hope to be adrenaline for get folks to write and express themselves. The PHOTOS are an aid to that. The words and photos change daily. We are FREE>
